Google needed help telling the story behind their productivity apps: Docs Sheets & Slides. Utilizing photography, illustration, and some fun using the apps themselves, we made a marketing site that easily translates across every language and device.
I worked on this project at Instrument as designer over a two month period. I collaborated with a developer to add motion to my UI illustrations.
For each product, a story was developed to tell a use-case as you scrolled down. For example, a cycling team using Google Sheets to track their progress. I then used each of these products to develop beautiful travel itineraries or group science presentations.
And of course, it had to break down beautifully for mobile.
Google, being an international company, needed illustrations and motion graphics that would be translatable. Due to the complexity of different languages, I used the ol' designer block-text trick to be inclusive.
